I felt the need to prove that this CMS I’ve been going on about really is not vapor ware but an actual functioning piece of software that is being deployed into production environments. I wasn’t interested in doing this earlier as the UI for the administrative section of the cms was not much to look at while i focused primarily on functionality. Last week I had some time to do a bit of a face lift so I think I can post some screenshots and not feel to funny about it. Let me put out the disclaimer that I am no creative designer or talented production artist by any stretch of the imagination.

Here is a typical login page for the administrative interface.

    Page Admin

Here is pages tab. There are basic actions you can perform on a page. Page heirarchy is immediately visible and adding subpages is as simple as clicking on +

    Edit Page

Here are some of the fields presented when editing a page. Pages can process variables using the custom php field.

    Edit Layout

Layouts are easily constructed using a drag and drop interface to link relevant assets like javascript and stylesheets

    Edit Content Code

Content Blocks html can be edited directly

    Edit Content Visual

Rich text editing is accomplished using FCKeditor for the unitiated

    Asset Admin Javascript

Assets can be managed directly through the cms admin interface

    Asset Admin Image

Images can be managed as well

    Menu Admin

Menus can be constructed and rearranged with ease

    Config

Site wide configuration is pretty basic

I still haven’t written the installer yet but once i do, I will be releasing it on the project page.
